Corte del Pozzo is the new range of quality wines made by the Fasoli Gino Estate. The symbol we have chosen to represent this range, is the old well that is situated in the heart of our courtyard. Built sometime between the 18th and 19th centuries we thought the well was particularly appropriate for two reasons. Firstly, it symbolises the sharing of the harvest, secondly, the well has been a focal point for the community, a place where people came together to share the best water source.
Originally, this well was one of only two in the town. The other was used to irrigate the surrounding fields and vineyards.
The Corte del Pozzo range has been created to meet increased demand with the grapes being sourced externally. We have chosen to work only with those vineyard owners with whom we have been working for many years, knowing people, microclimate, ground and grapes. Since the grapes come from different areas of Veneto, they have their own different characteristics. This gives us the possibility to produce expressive, typical wines. We believe that the result is a complete range of wines made respecting the territory and the people who are working in. Together with our sons, we are searching new grapes producers that can meet our philosophy to increase our wine range.
