Rosso Veronese IGT Pinot Nero "Sande" |
Grape variety:
100% Pinot Noir.
Characteristics:
This vineyard is located in an excellent position both geographically and climatically. After careful selection in the vineyard, the grapes are gently pressed in the winery. Fermentation takes place in thermoregulated steel tanks. Ageing in wood for 25-30 months is necessary to balance the acidity and to give suppleness to the tannins, present even after many years from the date of bottling. Thisis followed by ageing in bottles, which is essential if the wine is to develop completely.
Drinking / Storage:
This wine was first produced in 1994. The quality of Sande is best appreciated if it is drunk from 4 to 6 years after the harvest. It should be stored away from direct sunlight in a room which provides constant temperature, in a horizontal position. We recommend that you serve this wine at 18°C; we also suggest that you drink it with appropriate dishes, and not on its own.
